Epilogue Foundation and Ensō Consulting Launch Collaborative Initiative to Map Oregon's End-of-Life Care Ecosystem
Epilogue Foundation is excited to announce the launch of a new collaborative initiative with Ensō Consulting. Together, we are launching an Ecosystem Mapping Project to describe the landscape of Oregon's end-of-life (EOL) care services, organizations, and resources.
Oregon is home to many dedicated organizations and professionals providing EOL care, yet there is no comprehensive picture of the services offered or how these services and relationships fit together across the state. Ecosystem mapping is a research process that helps visualize and better understand the organizations, services, and relationships within a community. Through this project, we hope to identify the strengths, gaps, connections, and opportunities of Oregon’s EOL care community, to support greater collaboration and informed decision-making.
As a nonprofit organization, Epilogue is committed to ensuring that its programs complement - and do not duplicate - the important work already taking place throughout Oregon. This initiative will help inform Epilogue's long-term strategy while generating insights and resources that can continue to benefit the broader EOL community long after the project concludes.
We look forward to building relationships with organizations and professionals across the state. The connections we make throughout our exploration will deepen our understanding of their missions, services, and collaborative networks. As part of Epilogue's educational mission, we will publish a publicly available report sharing the project’s findings to support strategic decision-making, encourage collaboration, and contribute to the growing body of knowledge surrounding EOL care in Oregon.
We are honored to partner with Ensō Consulting on this initiative. Their expertise in research, strategy, and systems development for nonprofits will serve as a complement to Epilogue's mission and community focus in this joint endeavor. Together, we are confident this collaborative initiative will help us better understand Oregon's EOL care ecosystem and identify opportunities to strengthen it together.
Stay tuned for updates as the project progresses!
